Exilis Elite Facelift At Aessence Clinic

Exilis Elite® is an award-winning, FDA-approved device that is used to tighten and smoothen loose skin on the face and body. It is ideal for both men & women in their thirties to sixties, who don't want to undergo a surgical facelift.
Exilis Elite® uses a form of intense radiofrequency to heat the deep layers of the skin, whilst protecting the outer layer. Heating in this area, without damaging the outer layers of skin, causes microscopic changes to the tissues and collagen contraction, with subsequent collagen remodelling over the months to come. Treatments are comfortable, have no down time and give almost immediate visible results. You are able to resume all your usual activities straight way. A series of treatments is usually required for optimal results.

Exilis Elite® addresses the following concerns:

§  Droopy eyelids/looking tired
§  Eyebags
§  Flattening of the cheeks
§  Lines from nose to mouth (nasolabial folds)
§  Lines causing corners of the mouth to turn down (marionette lines)
§  Loosening jaw line (jowls)
§  Double chin
§  Loose neck

Exilis Elite® is used to tighten the skin and stimulate collagen production, and is best suited to patients with mild to moderate sagging of facial tissues, usually those in their thirties to sixties, with any skin colour.

Another Fat Laden Meal???

If we can divorce ourselves from the prejudice about fat, the endocrinology is really quite simple. Your body controls fat building. The hormone insulin controls fat.

How much insulin do you secrete in response to a fat laden meal? Zero. Insulin is secreted in response to carbohydrate. Eat more carbohydrate and you will secrete more insulin and build fat all oter things being equal. Fat in the diet, in contrast, is neutral.

Scientists hae even recently identified the cellular machinery that turns carbohydrates into fat. Researchers at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center found a protein in cells called ChREBP. It converts excess dietary carbohydrates into fat stores..

The Overfilled Syndrome Caused by Too Much Injectable Fillers

As people get older, the first place that they notice signs of aging is in their face. Some of the aging signs are saggy skin, blemishes, eye bags, wrinkles, hollow cheeks and jowling.
One way to preserve a youthful appearance is with injectable dermal fillers and botulinum toxins. Unfortunately, too much of a good thing can be bad. The end result of too much fillers is a condition typically referred to as overfilled syndrome also known as “pillow face” or “chipmunk cheeks”.

Even famous celebrities such as Madonna, Nicole Kidman and Janice Dickison have all fallen victim to overfilled syndrome.

What Is Overfilled Syndrome or Pillow Face?
It’s a condition that occurs as a result of a person getting over-injected with dermal fillers in their face. This leads to an overstuffed look, which causes the checks, chin, lips and other areas of the face to puff out disproportionately.

While dermal fillers are a great way to combat signs of aging and add volume back to your face, it’s important to visit a professional who knows the correct amount to use to make the face look natural. The correct usage of the type of fillers is also important. In some cases, untrained professionals add too much filler to stretch out the skin. In cases like this, people would be better off getting a face lift. There are many energy devices like the Exilis Elite™  or threadlifts that can lift the sagging skin.
Overfilled syndrome is a real concern for people who are thinking about facial injections. Visiting a professional for all of your dermal filler injections is the only way to make sure that you look natural and avoid the chipmunk cheeks that so many end up with from over-injecting.
Using Dermal Fillers the Correct Way and to Avoid Pillow Face
When using injectable fillers to combat aging, technique is everything. The key thing to remember about correcting volume loss is that skin loses elasticity as it ages. This means that the skin can’t hold volume in the same way that it did when it was younger. This can lead to unpredictable results such as lumps if you get work done by someone who isn’t a professional. Increasing the volume of your face doesn’t mean it should be injected with large amounts of dermal filler, even though it’s tempting. Overfilling the face will lead to an unnatural look and damage your skin elasticity even further.

The way dermal fillers work is by smoothing out wrinkles and hollowness by injecting directly into areas with fat loss. A physician should also be familiar with the ‘phi’ of beauty proportion and symmetry, besides the gender difference and preferences across the different ethnicities and cultures. Most often than not, it also takes different modalities and multiple sessions to address the many facets of aging concerns and beauty
What Are the Risks?
The good news is that dermal fillers are generally safe to use. However, there are some risks that might arise, such as an allergic reaction to the filler or an undesired look when over-injecting.
These risks are why you should never take facial fillers lightly and always visit a certified professional. In Malaysia, only doctors holding the LCP (Letter of credentialing and privileging) from the Ministry of Health Malaysia are allowed to do aesthetic procedures.
Doctors who take their work seriously always update themselves regularly and use fillers that have been approved by the FDA.
Dermal Fillers or Fat
Fat has also been used as a filler for face. It can also be enhanced with svf (stromal vascular faction) that contains growth factors for better results. The nanofat used also rejuvenates the skin making it look younger and radiant. It is safe and done in an office setting.
